Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

Questions in the interview centered on discussing the books I had included in my personal statement. We also talked about object study and stratigraphic study - key topics within the course.

How did you prepare for your interviews?

I prepared by reading around the subject, and talking to my parents & friends to practice speaking my thoughts out loud.

If you took a test, how did you prepare?

Again, I prepared by reading around the subject to familiarise myself with key topics that might come up.

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Try to keep as calm as possible and don't be afraid to elaborate on your ideas - the interviewers want to hear your thoughts!
