Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

Other than pleasantries, we just dived into maths and physics questions, I remember finding it hard to talk through what I was thinking, and making a lot of stupid mistakes.

How did you prepare for your interviews?

I did a practice interview with one of my physics teachers, and every time I was doing hard maths or physics questions I tried to think about and explain why I was doing every step in my method.

If you took a test, how did you prepare?

Practice papers, Isaac Physics questions.

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Try and explain every single step of your solution to the problem, as well as why you're using the method you are using.
