Interview 1: Law interview based on a discussion of a text that was given 30 minutes prior to the interview. Interview 2: based on Land Economy - note that generally does not happen to most law applicants.

Practising essays for the Cambridge Law Test, reading books and articles on the law and contentious legal problems, approaching current Cambridge law students.
Prepare well before interview day so that you can be as relaxed as possible; don't stress.

The first was a law interview, and I was given 30 mins to read some material and prepare to discuss it. This was easy, and the interviewers were lovely.
The second was a random Land Economy interview (this won’t be a common occurrence) which was very bizarre, and impossible to prepare for, so I just had to wing it, and try my best. It was unnerving, but I thought well everyone is in the same position so I may as well make the most of it and try to push on and do well. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Work hard in your preparation so that you can be as relaxed as possible when it comes to the real thing. Gain insight and help from those who have been through the process. Don’t stress yourself out thinking about it. On the day, be positive and warm and nice, and don’t stress, make it an enjoyable experience, and just try to do your best!
