Final thoughts

Nope

Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

Interview Format

I had 2 interviews, each 20 mins, each was a panel of 2 interviewers, both interviews were largely scientific, one had a short discussion about the medical profession.

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

Some biomedical science discussion about DNA, a mathsy probability question based around cancer, a question about practicing as a doctor

How did you prepare?

Honestly just keeping it chill. Some kids at the interview turned up with factfiles on their interviewers and random genetic conditions but the interviewers aren't really looking for that - it's about ability

Looking back, what advice would you give to your past self?

Nope!
