Final thoughts

Have fun and be yourself.

Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

Interview Format

Test taken: National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT)
Number of interviews: 2
Time between interviews: A day
Length of interviews: 30 mins
Online interview: No

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

The first was a straightforward response to a piece of legislation. The second was again a response to legislation but with a wider more moral angle. We did not get onto all the questions that were given in the prep time.

How did you prepare for your interviews?

I read over my personal statement to make sure I could answer any questions relating to that. I also listened to a few podcasts so that I would have some interesting talking points to bring up. Other than that I just had a good time!

If you took a test, how did you prepare?

I didn’t prepare until a few days before, I just read over a LNAT practice book

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Have fun and be yourself.
