The interview is a great chance to talk about ideas you love with amazing teachers.

Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

Talked about broader questions regarding my A-Level subjects in relation to my university choice subject. Also looked at different texts/pictures and interpreted from them. Not a massive focus on my personal statement- a few questions but mainly talked about broader ideas.

How did you prepare for your interviews?

Had a mock interview which was really useful. I also went over my personal statement and wrote and practiced answering questions they may ask about certain topics I mentioned.

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Keep calm! Most important thing is to try and not stress out during your interview and just have fun with it! Is a great chance to talk about ideas you love with amazing teachers.
